I’m Kuba Skrzeczkowski and I’m currently freshman student at University of Warsaw. I’m majoring in Natural Sciences (Chem & Phys & Math & Bio). My scientific interest lies in the field of structural biology – from research on structure of biological macromolecules to methods, their improvement and theory of structures (knot theory for instance).
Structural Biology is a dynamic field at interface of Protein Science, Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science. It has been significantly influencing world since 1953 when x-ray diffraction patterns of DNA led to discovery of its structure and mechanism of replication. Currently, extremly interesting research in structural biology are carried out in labs around the world.
